Nematodes are small, almost microscopic, roundworms that thrive in the top 15cm of soil throughout most parts of the world. If you have decided to get rid of an ants’ nest, the important thing is to approach it as a difficult project that will require sustained work. If you don’t want to kill them, then there are some humane options that seek to irritate the ants into moving home. Ants and crawling insects can be unwelcome visitors to homes and gardens, but Nippon has the solution to controlling them as quickly as possible.

Unlike sprays and other liquid solutions, Nippon Ant Bait Station is totally enclosed and easy to use. It is specially formulated to also combat various crawling insects, including cockroaches, spiders, and bedbugs. If you cannot spot them, then spray it all around the ants’ nest, surrounding and soaking it with white vinegar. I’ve found through various tests and uses that it’s ideal for boundaries and external areas, I don’t think it’s good for indoor spaces if you have children and pets. Imidasect ant gel is a highly effective formulation to attract and control Pharoah Ants, Argentine and Black ants. I used this at the front of our property where our dog couldn’t get to it, I believe it’s also safe to use in sheds, garages, under floorboards etc.When diluted in water and applied to an ant nest, the ant killer granules will penetrate deep within the nest, killing all the ants, including the ones that do not have access to the surface. While ants are a problem, it pays to keep all food areas spotlessly clean, and to tidy away potentially enticing foods into sealed containers. There are also neurotoxic sprays that also disinfect as they kill, and bait stations that you simply place in areas of ant activity – these are filled with a poisonous bait that ants find so irresistible they carry it back to the nest with them, killing them in the process.
