About this deal

Everyone hypes the smell up to being ‘divine’ but to me it smells like a blast of lavender powder with cardamom lurking in the back. There are plenty of scents that are close to or inspired by la' nuit so I'd rather chose those as a go to perfume or why not use something totally different all together, giving you space to play around and explore new scents. When i wear La Nuit it speaks to me which i don't understand, But i do understand when it speaks to itself.

In fact if it wasn't for the claims of the new batches being super weak, I would purchase this bottle just to give it to my partner to wear because it smells so darn good. This EDP does come across more masculine and is a dangerous item to have in one’s arsenal on colder days and those evening excursions. I wish they bumped up the performance on this, as it lasts 4 hours on my skin and dies out fast to a skin scent. I guess this is a good fragrance to wear at the club because everyone is going to be surrounded by alcohol anyway.

Please do not spray 30 spritzes on yourself, the beauty of this is it is like a peekaboo fragrance that teases those around you.

There definitely is a difference in projection and performance between the original release and the current one but the original DNA is still there. This fragrance had so much potential to be the best, but they doubled down with their projection and silage. I also think this easily is wearable in the spring time, since it has such a clean feel to it, although it's an intense fragrance. Sillage is pretty decent, not a beast but its slightly above average, a bit more smokey and darker than the original edt (almost dior homme parfum vibes to my unprofessional nose, much more mass appealing though). This one would be good for intimate settings or even really an office spray, since most people won't even notice you're wearing something. Instead of just increasing the performance original La Nuit which everyone wants, they added notes that are stronger in scent. I wanted to like it more because of its association with the original La Nuit de L' Homme, but this replaces the powdery backdrop with something that smells like meat preservatives, or seasoning. Overall it's a really nice scent, first you get something similar to the original EdT but with a little bit of extra sweetness in the background and then it evolves into a smooth, sweet-ish leather. During the first hour I don't get any leather at all but then it suddenly appears seemingly out of nowhere.
