In the first book his arrival at the school sees him flying into Class Three through the window on a magic carpet. A vast and wonderfully entertaining set of 14 children's adventures, this Mr Majeika Collection is perfect for kids who are starting to get to grips with reading alone.

He loved the magic in a school setting, and what Mr Majeika's class had to do to help their teacher put right some spells he needed help reversing. This was a very light-hearted book to read, I would recommend this for KS1 as the story line, although nicely written is very simple in content. He arrives through the classroom window on a magic carpet which the children at the time are in disbelief of.

But rules are made to be broken, and that’s exactly what happens when Class Three’s new teacher flies in through the classroom window and lands on the floor with a bump! Mr Majeika and Class Three find themselves in a creepy hotel near Hadrian's Wall, where some very spooky things start to happen. At times I had to quickly edit out sexist language, but generally it is a good read-aloud for 7 and 8 year olds. This is possibly due to ongoing rights issues after the production company, TVS, dropped out of the ITV network in 1992 and subsequently went through a number of take-overs.

When he and his class three find themselves stranded in a mysterious and creepy hotel it unfolds a series of incredible events. My daughter (age 6) is working her way through this series at the moment and thoroughly enjoying them.Mr Majeika can behave just like any ordinary teacher if he wants to, but something has to be done about Hamish Bigmore, the class nuisance, and so he uses a little magic to turn him into a frog.
