About this deal

The set list revolves around tracks from the international bestselling Nevermind album but anyone who thought global recognition might have seen the band polish up and bland out would be sorely mistaken - raucous, distorted and blessed by a vocal performance that veers from disdainful to hysterical, from opener 'Negative Creep' to the 'Smells Like Teen Spirit' that closes it, they're 100% chaotic punk rock energy. Sadly, lead guitarist and vocalist Kurt Cobain's death by suicide in April 1994 marked the end of Nirvana.

The final lineup consisted of Kurt Cobain on lead guitar and vocals until his untimely death in April 1994; Krist Novoselic on bass and accordion from March 1987 to April 1994; and Dave Grohl on drums and backing vocals from September 25, 1990 to April 5, 1994. Prior to that, they were known as Skid Row (6), Pen Cap Chew (2), Bliss (108), Ted Ed Fred, Throat Oyster, and Windowpane. EX (Excellent): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality.

A more polished - but still beautifully scuzzy - set than its predecessor, the album turned the Seattle band into worldwide stars and made grunge indie-rock's most talked about sub-genre. In the edit page, go to the 'Metadata' tab and add your Juno artist, label or release page for listeners to purchase your release / releases. Nirvana’ was released following the settlement of a long standing legal dispute between Courtney Love and remaining Nirvana members Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, centered on the release format of the song ‘You Know You’re Right’ which was recorded at the band's last session in 1994. Review: Despite the personal problems we now know Kurt Cobain was suffering at the time and which would eventually drag the band into oblivion, Nirvana sound pretty much on top of their game on this broadcast of a Japanese show from February 1992.

History lessons aside, they were more potent live than on any studio recording, with this breakneck, raw-throated and high-intensity set exemplary of why. If you want to check the colour of the record before you purchase, I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. M (Mint): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.

Plenty of the band's classics made the setlist and they sound as sleazy and gritty as ever on this recording. Regarded as one of the most influential albums of all time, it includes the tracks 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'Come As You Are', 'Lithium' and 'In Bloom'. Additionally make sure your User-Agent is not empty and is something unique and descriptive and try again. Nobody had come up with an album like Nevermind before, because no one could conceive of an album like it - not since Husker Du had broken up, anyway. This exceptional live recording from the Spanish capital two years earlier represents the outfit at their peak of dominance, having released their most commercially successful record, Nevermind, 12 months or so earlier, creating a slew of anthems such as 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'Something In The Way', and 'Come As You Are' to international youth culture folklore.

Their musical legacy lives on each time a new generation licks into the grunt chromes of the music, or each time we get a reissue or special limited edition picture disc album like the one. Review: The third, controversial final album from Seattle's Nirvana should require little to no introduction.

Their major-label debut album, "Nevermind," released in 1991 by DGC/Geffen Records, broke both the band and grunge into mainstream America.

Originally released in 1991, the album has been been remastered and re-released to mark the 20th Anniversary of its original release. Nevermind raised groundbreaking Seattle grunge trio Nirvana to the status of godhead, forever changing the face of the pop music market. As a result, classics such as 'Smells Like Teen Spirit', 'Come as You Are' and 'Drain You' sound fresher and heavier than ever. Review: By 1992 Nirvana weren't just in full swing, they'd done the unthinkable - turning the hardcore end of a rock 'n' roll sub genre that originated in the US Pacific Northwest into a global chart-topping phenomena.Punk energy and aesthetic ("Territorial Pissings", "Drain You") are its lifeblood; pop melody, harmony, and structure ("Something In The Way", "Come As You Are) its selling points; Kurt Cobain's roaring guitars and subconscious intellect ("Smells Like Teen Spirit", "In Bloom") its heart and soul. Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
