Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. I now believe this item is out of print and may not be reprinted, so its unlikely this seller has any of tese books to sell, even though it is still listed as being available. I would have preferred covering more of the side missions, seeing more of the treasure maps and other items collected and less "throw your axe at this monster", but overall it's a nice companion to "The Art of God of War".

Frankly, when enraged, Kratos is the most frightening killer I've ever seen- and that includes some pretty bloodthirsty Aesir brutes, believe me. When Kratos noticed the bow, his eyes widened and he complimented the bow, saying it was "very nice" and "remarkable".

After her death, he had a vision of her looking happy, and he wondered whether she knew everything that was to come. He wondered if Kratos's lesson about them having "no excuses" to not go where they please, was a good lesson after all. This hardcover volume chronicles Atreus and Kratos' journey through the fabled Nine Realms, from the Wildwoods of Midgard to the mountains of Jotunheim and beyond. The second half the book is the bestiary that catalogues all the monsters, their strengths and powers. They had to camp out in a hall for six days, and when they came out, everything was frozen and covered in snow. This hardcover volume chronicles Atreus and Kratos' journey through the fabled Nine Realms, from the Wildwoods of Midgard to the mountains of Jtunheim and beyond.

Again, here the descriptions are so short as to offer no interesting further insight and the strength/weakness information might have been useful when playing the game, not sure how useful it is now years after. This hardcover volume chronicles Atreus and Kratos’s journey through the fabled Nine Realms, from the wildwoods of Midgard to the mountains of Jtunheim and beyond. One time, while Atreus was studying runic charms, he spoke one rune and suddenly he gained a sight, describing it as this warm fluid that moved inside of him. It is a recount of his mother's lessons, the journey, Fimbulwinter, Norse lore (well, God of War's take), and a catalog of the enemies which can be helpful to anyone playing the game.He also thought about his father and mother's different approaches when it came to meeting others- his father told him to close his heart to enemies, and his mother told him to keep an open heart.

On one occasion, when he was practising with his bow, he got distracted by the thoughts of a rabbit far away. Delving into the more obscure didn't really interest me, and I also never got a good feel of which parts are actual Norse mythology and which parts are made for this game. Though he figured that was appropriate, as he himself was a mix of god, giant and mortal, and that the name must mean something. It's clear that the author, Rick Barba, is a true expert on mythology, and he does an excellent job of weaving together the various threads of the God of War universe. It's this attention to detail that sets "God of War: Lore and Legends" apart from other video game companion books. The hit game is brought to life in a tangible and exciting new way as readers are invited to plumb the lore of God of War through the eyes of Kratos' son, Atreus. It's really interesting reading his comments on the journey in hindsight while also reading on expanded lore. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. Atreus also notes how after they came home, Kratos started using his blades more often- with the rise of so many Hel-Walkers, they don't have a choice. After Atreus kills another of Odin's ravens, he remarks that he can usually hear the thoughts of birds, but Odin's ones are always dead silent, He also add that he "can't wait" to fight another Asgardian god.
