As you’d hope with a flagship QLED TV, the QN90B’s colours are possessed of a thrilling vibrancy. The TV’s got a slight preponderance towards red that’s not entirely accurate but that really does make images pop and isn’t so exaggerated as to make movies look unrealistic. The QN90A’s user interface is powered by Tizen, a Linux-based, open-source operating system. It’s among the better smart TV platforms out there and is responsive, intuitive and easy to navigate. The interface features a launcher bar along the bottom of the screen, along with a second layer that provides faster access to the various streaming services and applications on offer. We uploaded the brightness measurements and uniformity photos after running the TV for two months in our Accelerated Longevity Test. The Samsung QN90A’s 10-bit panel supports HDR and, while not as impressive as the higher-end Neo QLED models, does deliver measurements comparable with some OLED TVs.
