The BOSS GT-1B is a really great piece of kit. Was obsessing with synth pedals but couldn't decide which one and then would require an expression pedal etc. The Boss SY-1 doesn't offer presets. I'm pleased with the GT-1B - many many possibilities for designing patches, built in expression pedal & 99 presets. You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. I haven't used any other effects processor so can't directly compare, but the unit has more than surpassed my main reasons for buying it.
