About this deal

Following the verdict, Detective Chief Inspector Wayne Jones said: “I don’t think we will ever know what the motive was. The jury heard how married father-of-two Reszpondek met divorcee Ms Rodgers - known as Tati - at a Dairy Crest plant in Wrexham. But on the weekend of July 11, Mr Davies was at home due to his partner being ill. He noticed a person on a scooter parking up outside the flats and initially suspected it to be related to a drug deal. Police searching fields around the Erddig area of Wrexham close to where Ermatati's body was actually buried in March 2009

Paramedics said they were were called to a property on Pentre Gwyn in Caia Park, Wrexham, shortly after 6:15pm last night, Monday 23 October. The nature of the incident is yet to be confirmed. The defendant was crying and the officer noticed that the 19-year-old had a "large laceration" on his hand. He was arrested and taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital for treatment.

The defendant watched the police looking for the body from the top of a nearby slag heap, hiding in bushes, wearing camouflage clothing and using binoculars. The court heard how he had 'loaned' a friend his bike who later lent it to Jones with Mr Farmer's permission. This was the bike Mr Davies had seen him leaving Mr Walley's flat with. Mr Davies then made the decision to call the police due to the ‘silence’ coming from the flats and what he had just overheard Jones say. Detective Chief Inspector Alun Oldfield said on Monday: “I would like to offer my condolences to Kyle’s family at this extremely difficult time.

The man, who was arrested earlier this week, has been released pending further investigations. ‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌ Ms Jones was asked about screenshots of a call log taken from her phone between herself and Mr Walley. She confirms that Mr Walley and herself had called one another on July 11 and that conversation lasted over 20 minutes at around 4.30pm. But police found his DNA on her mattress and deleted “glamour photographs” of Ms Rodgers on his digital camera which included her in underwear and semi-naked poses. It was only at that stage that he went to Wrexham police station and told them where they could find the body. A compilation of evidence was then played in court, showing clips gathered from multiple sources including North Wales Police and Jones' snapchat account.

He tells the jury that he did speak with Mr Walley between 2pm and 2.30pm that day and that he sounded like he had been 'drinking heavily'. Mr Walley asked if Mr Bull wanted to come and watch the football with him and Jones at his flat. Mr Meadows described Jones’ personality as ‘being all over the place’ and that his behaviour was ‘erratic’. He was taken to hospital, but sadly died later. ‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌ The fourth witness called to the stand was Charlotte Upton who was Jones' probation officer and said that she had had 'no issues' with the defendant.
