About this deal

Pincushion & Pins - You'll pin most everything you sew to keep the fabrics from slipping. A pincushion keeps them neat and tidy. The Show Guide provides a full colour floor plan, list of exhibitors, workshop timetables, features andgalleries. You'll want to start by threading your needle in one of the two ways I've taught you. Knot the thread end(s). I find it is easiest to wind the end of the thread around one of my fingers so that it forms a loop. You can then slip that loop off your finger and pull the end through. I usually do this twice so I know the knot will stay!

Old English siwian "to stitch, sew, mend, patch, knit together," earlier siowian, from Proto-Germanic *siwjanan (cognates: Old Norse syja, Swedish sy, Danish sye, Old Frisian sia, Old High German siuwan, Gothic siujan "to sew"), from PIE [Proto-Indo-European] root *syu- "to bind, sew" (cognates: . . . Editing Capabilities

Use the Normal Fill, Column, Satin line, Manual Stitches etc. digitizing tools to create controlled, detailed designs. Editing

Starting off, Stitch & Sew Studio possesses the full editing and lettering capability of Editor Plus, and adds further tools in both areas, including TrueType font importation and condensed level editing of digitized artwork. Double threaded: pull the thread through the eye and double it up. The end that's threaded through the eye will meet up with the thread from the spool. This way you'll have two tail ends. You'll knot these together and then sew with the doubled up thread. If you have problems with this, you can buy a needle threader. They can be quite useful for those with bad eyes or shaky hands. :)We are currently unable to deliver to the locations detailed below. Please see the individual location for further information.

Sewing" is the activity involved in making items out of fabric or similar materials, using techniques resembling stitching. (What a "technique resembling stitching" means is subject to individual interpretation, but might include gluing, fastening together with rivets, fusing with heat, etc.) "Sew" is a verb (where "stitch" is both a noun and a verb), though "sewing" can be used as an uncountable noun. Be creative with digitizing. Sequin is available in standard digitizing tools such as normal fill and running stitch, but also as manually inputted sequin. Stitch EditSingle threaded: pull the thread through the eye so that the needle is a few inches from the end. You can then cut the length of thread that you like. You will knot the longer single thread however you like and begin sewing.

Make sure you're holding the shorter bit of thread close to the needle while sewing - otherwise, it will slip through the eye and you'll have to keep rethreading it!
