I've read so many books of late which discuss the importance of accountability. In my youth this was unheard of and it was a given through training and education that accountability was core to the importance of being and attaining a great occupation in the future. Hornblower (" The Even Chance" / " The Examination for Lieutenant" / " The Duchess and the Devil" / " The Frogs and the Lobsters") And who is "we"?: non-authoritarian, ethical, sexually aware (not necessarily active) human beings who thoughtfully approach the question: What kind of relationship is a good one? Because before we even seek an Other, we must choose: wordless college hook-up, one-night stand, short term "friend", long term friend "to have fun with", companion, life partner, or spouse/best-friend to start a family with (or yet something else). This book may make you question your unconscious assumptions or conscious decisions in this area.

I'm not exaggerating, that's the big secret. Fake piercings are a must. Make shit up about your life, never show your true self. A little gossipy, but a nice look into the intricacies of the 2008 election. " — Evlondo, 1/20/2014 And that's why this book is sad on so many levels, it makes women out to be this exotic species to be studied from afar. It also makes it so that there are no cultural differences. Instead Strauss claims that since their strategies worked both all over LA and once in Bulgaria (or was it Romania?) it is a universal success. Oh, and it's not only the wanna be actresses women you meet in the night clubs in LA, actually one of the women in the Eastern European country they were in, she was a doctor of some sorts, and she liked them, so boom - it works on all smart women as well!

Heilemann and Halperin have conducted hundreds of interviews to provide the inside story of the 2008 campaign…It vividly shows how character flaws large and small caused Obama’s opponents to self-destruct.” — New York Times Book Review It also makes it terrible for those few PUAs in the book who say they're looking for a girlfriend. If we're all looking for a partner with quality, this is narrowing it down to some of the wrong traits.

Anyway, I read the first chapter and it wasn't bad by any means—I personally just couldn't connect with the main character! I seem to have a hard time connecting with male characters in genereal, especially if they're not extremely well-developed! I thought if was facinating to read about all of the 2008 presidental candidates from a journalist's perspective. No one came out of this book unscathed. McNamara, Mary; Critic, Television (March 8, 2012). "Television review: 'Game Change' ". Los Angeles Times. As a Flames fan, I have fond memories of the OT goal he scored against the Sharks in ‘04. However, it’s important to note that this is not a biography of Montador’s life.

An amazing piece of work…One of the best books on politics of any kind…An absolutely gripping read.” when asked why voters liked john edwards, this one guy dared say what lots of people thought: "I like that he's got a fat wife! I thought he'd be married to a Barbie or a cheerleader." The writing in this novel is elevated beyond what you would expect in your average sports novel. There were some really lovely sentences and turns of phrase, and the reader gets a real sense of place in the description of Rumney, New Hampshire and its residents. No wonder they get angry when they realize everyone's already heard these cheesy lines, and that sometimes even the dumbest girls have already had more than one guy in a flamboyant outfit try to screw with her head. The best put down to the whole process actually came from Tom Cruise, who Strauss interviewed because unlike a lot of the PUAs, Strauss actually had a pretty decent career, which allowed him to do celebrity interviews for places like Rolling Stone. Of course, this book was written in the early 2000s, when people had the spare time to spend thousands of dollars on workshops on how to talk to women.
