About this deal

I especially liked how - because it's told through letters - a lot of things happen off-page and we have to piece together events through what is revealed in their correspondence. com and reported I implore you to contact this trustworthy hacker and recovery expert Software Specialist. Fear of the unknown seems to be crippling both of them and the compassion and support they feel from each other's letters soothes their mutual pain. This was a very frank and understanding look at human failings, served up to the reader in a very digestible and relatable format. I remember reading about the art of writing them and how essentially every single word must earn its place in the prose.

The story is told entirely through the letters exchanged between Carrie and David and those of the affair. she has struck again, this time proving that she can also provide abundant quality over slim quantity. I read Reid's The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo a week or two ago, and it will undoubtedly be on my list of the best books I read this year. Come with us as we delve into this world of intrigue and scandal in a format yet undone by legendary author Taylor Jenkins Reid!So when I read something like this where the words really do earn their place, I find it a lot easier and more enjoyable to read. As he tries to recover from the blow, he realizes that the only person he can rely on is Carrie, and the two begin to build a friendship based on such an awkward common bond. The whole book is written through letters, but don't let that stop you: it was definitely the perfect way to tell this story. In this sense, I cannot say that I had ever previously read one such story: the exchange of letters -- supplemented by the crisscrossing of other letters -- between Carrie and David, initiated by the former upon her discovering her husband Ken's letters of passion, sent by Janet, David's wife (as it turns out). Allow me to say that I even found this peculiar enough to be pondering -- both while I was reading and after -- how inordinately strange the turns life takes can be.

I enjoyed this way of telling the story and have enjoyed how both of the stories I've read by Taylor Jenkins Reid have been related differently than most that I read. Slow burning but engaging, I found the story to be mostly realistic and the characters are utterly relatable. This is a great idea, but it's a little more basic than I was hoping for from the author of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. The story is short and I won't say any more except that I feel like the resolution for both Carrie and David were healthy for each party and their families. I know these relationships took place in a different time (the 70s) but human nature doesn't change. The letters, filled with pain, confusion, and moments of solace, create an intimate connection between the characters. In the realm of contemporary fiction, few authors captivate readers with their ability to delve into the complexities of human relationships quite like Taylor Jenkins Reid.

Carrie and David begin corresponding with one another and send each other photocopies of their spouses’ letters. Though this format limits how much character description we get, I instantly connected to our protagonists. It's amazing how satisfying, how powerful, how poignant a story like this can be, and while I felt like she took you on a complete journey in a short number of pages, I'd still love to see what came next for these characters. This is the story about a women who after losing everything gains everything and in the process discovers her true identity.Evidence of the Affair was the first that I’ve actually read from Reid though, and I’m so glad I did!
